API access count limitation
AliExpress open platform has access count limitation to API calls.
There are 3 types of limitation.
Limitation per Appkey
Each appkey has a limitation of API calls per day.
You can check the limitation or improve the limitation in the console. The button to apply for more access count is only available when your application is released and today’s access count has reached 70% of the limitation.
If the past 24 hours’ access count has reached the limitation, it will ban your application from calling AliExpress APIs until 24:00 (Beijing time, GMT+8). You can set up the warning notifications through below actions. If you can forecast the number of API calls per day, you can ask the technical support to increase the limitation directly.
Limitation per API
To ensure the service availability, some APIs may have limitation on access count (per second or per day, for all appkeys). If the access count reaches the limitation, all applications will be banned for a second (if the limitation is per second) or the end of today (if the limitation is per day).
Limitation per API & Appkey
Sometimes we may set limitation per API & appkey, which means each appkey has a limitation of calling a certain API.
