Merchant destination mapping

• Merchant destination mapping is designed mainly to effectively solve the problem of frequent “Invalid destination/departure city” popups during item release and maintenance due to unmatched merchant address database and Alitrip address database. A broker merchant may use the Alitrip’s destination mapping tool for batch-uploading and establishing mapping between both parties’ system address databases (the mapping only needs to be established once; afterwards, all business scenario APIs can share the same mapping). Whether to establish a mapping is optional - if a merchant does not wish to establish such mapping, Alitrip Standard Address Names must be used during item release and modification.
  To use the destination mapping tool: first, click “Download destination template” and fill the template with data in the required format; then, click “Upload destination template” to complete relational mapping of destinations, and refresh the webpage to see the added association. For some destinations that contain errors during automatic matching, click “Edit” to make corrections.

One-day/multi-day overseas tour product maintenance

• The one-day/multi-day overseas tour product interface uses external merchant codes (out_product_id) as primary keys.

• Such interface supports both new item release and quantity update. Some parameters for newly-released items are mandatory, but most parameters for item updates are optional. Please see parameter instructions. The system will determine whether a new item release or an item modification is involved according to out_product_id, and the determination rules are as follows:
  1) In the case that only out_product_id is uploaded where the out_product_id has been associated with a certain item id, it will be considered as a modification of an existing item; otherwise, it will be considered as a new item release.
  2) In the case that both out_product_id and item_id are uploaded, it will be considered that the out_product_id and the item_id are being associated and the item corresponding to the item_id is simultaneously edited.

• During product maintenance, the departure and destination cities support Alitrip standard addresses or addresses customized by merchants. In order to use addresses customized by merchants, merchant destination mapping must be established first.

• Both the simplified field (desc_xml) and complex field (desc_html) are provided for item descriptions; at least one of them need to be filled for new item release.

Maintain price and availability

• Complete valid calendar price and availability information of an item. Before calendar price and availability information of an item is completed, the item cannot be launched

Launch/discontinue items

• When an item is in stock and can be sold by default, the interface can be invoked to launch the item
